History
The PTSA is a not-for-profit organization, member of the statewide PTA (www.nyspta.org). Based on the effort of many years of PTA, the PTSA was founded last year to focus on the needs of Middle and High School students. It was started by a group of dedicated volunteers who worked hard to support teachers and parents, and develop initiatives geared towards the interests and needs of the students. The PTSA gave scholarships to three students, hosted a breakfast and lunch for honor role students, organized displays about topics such as myspace, and created opportunities for creative and artistic talents.
